Bio

 

Erin Lewis is a Canadian artist working in creative electronics, wearable technology, and sculpture/installation.  She is a graduate of OCAD University (OCADU) in Toronto, Canada, with a BFA in Integrated Media and Wearable Technology. 


Erin currently works at OCADU where she teaches wearable technology; is a Senior Researcher at OCADU's wearable technology research lab, the Social Body Lab, and is the Coordinator of the Toronto Wearables Meetup.  She is also an instructor of wearable technology and wireless communication at various Toronto artist centres and hacklabs. 


Her work has been shown at the International Consumer Electronics Show (Las Vegas); Maker Faire New York; Mini-Maker Faire Toronto; Nuit Blanche Toronto; Toronto International Film Festival; Ontario Science Centre; Discovery Channel Canada;  Discovery.com; and has been featured in the Surface Design Association Journal, Fibre Focus Magazine, Huffington Post, Toronto Star, and a variety of technology blogs.
